Freshly Faded was founded out of necessity. About 5 years ago I opened up the shop because their wasn’t a shop in existence in San Diego that would allow me to grow into the person I was becoming. I wanted to accurately display the diversity of African-American culture and provide positive representation of that same culture on a platform that is approachable and welcoming.

The goal has always been to change the community one haircut at a time. I truly believe that there is no shop like Freshly Faded on the planet. When you step into the the shop we will fully immerse you in Art, Music, Incense, Philosophical conversations, and dope haircuts which is only a portion of what we do.
